Closing a Trade

The ability to close a Trade for tracking purposes offers great benefits:

  1. Realized Gains/Losses: Closing a trade is essential for accurately tracking your trading performance over time within Orizon.

  2. Data for Improvement: The data from closed trades provides valuable information for analyzing your trading decisions and identifying areas for improvement.

To Close a Trade:

Step 1: Navigate to the Trades Section:

  • Click on the "Trades" option in the left-hand navigation panel.

Step 2: Launch the “Close Trade” modal:

  • Click the Horizontal Ellipses icon along the trade row you want to close.

  • This will open the "Close Trade" modal.

Step 3: Enter Fields:

  • Once the modal is open, enter the Close Price and Close Date of your trade.

  • Note on Close Date: The Close Date cannot be before the Open Date.

Step 4: Confirm changes:

  • Click "Update" to finalize the process.
