Crypto Allocation: Isolate and Analyze Digital Assets

The Crypto Allocation page provides a dedicated space designed to help you isolate, monitor, and analyze your cryptocurrency and digital asset holdings. Because cryptocurrency markets operate 24/7 on different dynamics than traditional equities or funds, this page gives you specialized software tools to track your crypto valuations, capitalization weightings, risk metrics, and token holdings.

High-Level Crypto Summary Cards

At the top of the page, four specialized summary cards provide an immediate snapshot of your digital asset portfolio based on automated price feeds:

  • Total Crypto Value: Displays the aggregate market value of all cryptocurrency tokens currently held in your portfolio, featuring a footer that tracks your day change value calculated from the last market close.

  • Total Unique Crypto Holdings: A count of the distinct crypto tickers logged in your account, paired with a footer showing your net change in unique holdings over a rolling 30-day period.

  • Unrealized Gain (Crypto): Calculates your aggregate paper profit or loss across all active crypto positions, color-coded for visual feedback and accompanied by your calculated return on investment (ROI) percentage.

  • Portfolio Percentage (Crypto): The percentage share that your total crypto assets represent relative to your total assets tracked across Orizon (comprising Stocks, Funds, and Crypto).

Visualizing Your Crypto Allocation and Weightings

To help you observe asset distribution across continuous market data, the page utilizes dynamic charting tools:

  • Crypto Value Graph: An interactive historical valuation line and area graph tracking the total calculated value of your crypto holdings over time. Using the same consistent design as our Stocks and Funds pages, it allows you to hover over points on the line to view historical values across specific date ranges.

  • Crypto Weighting Donut Graph: This Highcharts donut chart categorizes your holdings into market capitalization tranches based on global market cap data:

    • Mega-Cap: Typically anchored by foundational assets such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) (Global market cap of $10 billion or more).

    • Mid-Cap: Layer 1 or Layer 2 protocols such as Solana, Avalanche, or Polygon (Global market cap from $1 billion up to $10 billion).

    • Small-Cap / Alts: Low-cap utility tokens, alternative coins, or early-stage ecosystem assets (Global market cap under $1 billion). Hovering over sections displays the aggregate percentage share of each cap class.

Crypto-Native Volatility and Yield Metrics

Digital asset tracking requires specialized metrics. Our analytics blocks provide objective calculations of your holding data:

  • Risk Assessment (30D) Card: Displays historical statistical volatility markers annualized using a 365-day calendar baseline:

    • Volatility (30d): Standard deviation of daily log returns over the past 30 days.

    • Max Drawdown: Peak-to-trough percentage drop capturing the maximum historical drawdown depth recorded before a relative peak.

  • Efficiency & Sentiment Card:

    • Fear & Greed Index: A 0–100 gauge mapping real-time market sentiment via external aggregators.

    • Sharpe Ratio: A mathematical risk-adjusted calculation showing historical returns relative to portfolio volatility.

  • Staking & Yield Metrics: For users tracking decentralized finance or staking data:

    • Locked Assets: The recorded fiat value of tokens deposited in active staking contracts.

    • Est. APY: Compounded annualized percentage yield representing the current reward run-rate.

    • Monthly Rewards: Pro-rated monthly fiat projections based on current APY distributions.

Detailed Crypto Holdings Ledger

For precise auditing and granular tracking, the Current Crypto Holdings table provides a comprehensive breakdown of every digital asset in your portfolio:

  • Symbol / Crypto Name: Identifies your assets by pairing their ticker symbols with their full names.

  • Quantity: Tracks your coin count down to fractional and Satoshi units, ensuring that small holdings are accounted for in your total calculated value.

  • Cost Basis: Displays the recorded baseline acquisition cost for your tokens, providing a foundation for performance math.

  • Current Price: Pulls real-time market pricing directly into your ledger to calculate current market values.

  • Current Value: Multiplies your quantity by the current price to display the fiat valuation of each individual holding.

  • Portfolio Share: Highlights the exact percentage weight that each coin contributes to your overall crypto holdings, displaying allocation distribution across your portfolio.

  • P&L (Unrealized): Calculates your paper profit or loss with color-coded visual indicators (Green for positive returns, Red for negative returns), allowing you to review asset performance.

Highlight: Why Use the Crypto Allocation Page?

The Crypto Allocation page is engineered specifically for the continuous tracking of digital assets. By combining automated price tracking and market-cap bucketing with crypto-native statistical metrics, staking calculations, and multi-decimal token ledgers, Orizon Analytics provides clear visual organization for your digital asset data alongside your broader portfolio metrics.

Note on Data Accuracy: Orizon Analytics is a read-only software utility and does not execute trades, move funds, or hold assets. Dashboard metrics are mathematical calculations based on imported user data. Users should independently verify all calculations and metrics against official brokerage or exchange statements before making independent trading decisions elsewhere.
