This article explains how to use the Total Estimated Income card to easily plan your future cash flow. This dynamic tool helps you visualize the combined dividend income you can expect to receive within a selected future date range.
Locating Your Total Estimated Income Card
You'll find the Total Estimated Income card on your Portfolio section under the Dividend Income tab; a section dedicated to your dividend investment earnings.

What the Total Estimated Income Card Shows You
The Total Estimated Income card provides a clear, at-a-glance view of your estimated dividend earnings.
Prominent Value: The card displays a single, prominent value that represents the total sum of all Announced Income and Forecast Income for the date range you've selected.
Dynamic Date Range: The card clearly shows the date range used for its calculation. This date range is directly tied to the Estimated Income Date Range Selector on the page.
How the Total Estimated Income is Calculated
The value displayed is a simple but powerful sum:
Total Estimated Income=Σ(Announced Dividends)+Σ(Forecast Dividends)
This calculation is performed for every date within your chosen date range. It's important to note that the card's value will dynamically update every time you change your selection in the Estimated Income Date Range Selector.
Default View: When you first load the page, the selector defaults to "6M" (6 Months). As a result, the card will initially display your total estimated income for the next six months (the current month plus the next five months).
Visual Indicators
The card uses a consistent color scheme to match other cards on your dashboard:
Green Border: The card's border will be green if the Total Estimated Income is greater than zero.
Grey Border: The border will be grey if the estimated income for the selected period is zero.
Because this card represents an estimated income, a negative value is not possible.
Important to Note
Total Estimated Income" and "Forecast Income" are built on historical data and current portfolio holdings. These are estimations, not guarantees. Dividend payments are subject to change, suspension, or elimination by the issuing company at any time, and can be influenced by various market, economic, and company-specific factors. Refer to our Terms of Service for more details.
Highlight
