This article explains how to use the detailed dividends schedule table within the Portfolio section. This dynamic table is a powerful tool for tracking and planning your dividend income by providing both a summary of your dividend-paying holdings and a comprehensive, scrollable schedule of historical and future payments.

Locating Your Dividend Table

You'll find the Dividend Table in your Portfolio section under the Dividend Income tab; a section dedicated to your dividend investment earnings.

Table Structure and Content

The table is divided into two main sections to provide a complete view of your dividend-paying stocks:

Left Side (Stock Information)

This section stays in place as you scroll horizontally. It provides an at-a-glance summary of each dividend-paying stock you own with the following columns:

  • Symbol: The ticker symbol of the stock.

  • Status: The status of the next dividend payment, either "Announced" (officially declared by the company) or "Forecast" (an estimate based on historical data).

  • Frequency: How often the dividend is paid (e.g., Monthly, Quarterly).

  • Next Ex-Dividend Date: The upcoming ex-dividend date.

  • Next Payable Date: The upcoming dividend payable date.

  • Dividend Amount Per Share: The declared or estimated dividend amount.

  • Dividend Yield TTM: The trailing twelve months dividend yield.

Dynamic Status: The "Status" for each stock row automatically transitions from "Forecast" to "Announced" as a company makes an official declaration. Once a payable date has passed, the status reverts back to "Forecast" to look for the next estimated payment.

Right Side (Monthly Dividend Schedule)

This section is horizontally scrollable and provides a detailed timeline of your dividend income.

  • Monthly Columns: The header row displays individual months, starting from the earliest historical payable date in your account and extending to December of the next calendar year.

  • Total Monthly Dividend: Immediately below the monthly headers, a special row displays the total sum of all dividends (earned, announced, and forecasted) for each respective month from all your stocks.

  • Cell Entries: Each cell within this section shows the dividend amount for a specific stock in a specific month. If there is no dividend for a month, the cell will display "--".

Navigating and Visual Cues

  • Scrolling: You can scroll the entire table vertically to view all your stocks. The right side of the table can be scrolled horizontally to view your full dividend history and future projections.

  • Current Month Indicator: A prominent vertical line visually separates your past earned dividends from your current and future projections. This line updates automatically as time passes.

  • Color-Coded Highlights: The cells on the right side of the current month line (future months) are color-coded to give you an instant visual status:

    • Earned: In the current month, once a dividend's payable date has passed, its cell will be highlighted as Earned.

    • Announced: Cell entries for future months with officially declared amounts are highlighted as Announced.

    • Forecast: Cell entries with estimated dividend amounts are highlighted as Forecast.

Important to Note

Total Estimated Income" and "Forecast Income" are built on historical data and current portfolio holdings. These are estimations, not guarantees. Dividend payments are subject to change, suspension, or elimination by the issuing company at any time, and can be influenced by various market, economic, and company-specific factors. Refer to our Terms of Service for more details.
