Welcome to Orizon Analytics! This article will guide you through accessing our platform and setting up your first trade to begin tracking your investments.
Accessing Orizon Analytics
You can easily access Orizon Analytics directly from our website: orizonanalytics.io.
Once you land on the homepage, you'll see two clear options:
Sign In: For existing users.
Free Beta Access: For new users eager to join our beta program.
Your Beta Welcome
As a beta user, the first thing you'll see upon logging in is a "Welcome to our Beta" notification. This special invitation is designed to help you understand the purpose of our beta program and what Orizon Analytics aims to achieve. You can dismiss this notification at any time by clicking the "X" button in the top corner.
Navigating Your Dashboard
Once you've logged in, you'll land on your Dashboard, our central hub. This page intuitively displays key metrics from your portfolio. For first-time users, these metrics will initially show zeros.
Opening Your First Trade
To begin tracking your investments, you'll need to open a trade:
Navigate to the Trades section using the left-hand navigation panel.
Select Track Trade.
Here, you'll input the symbol of the stock.
Once the symbol is entered, the exchange field will automatically populate.
Specify the type of transaction (buy, short, or long position).
Enter the open price, quantity, and the date the transaction was opened.
After filling in all the required fields, click Open Trade.
Your transaction will immediately appear in the Trades page, displaying all the details you've just entered.
See also the article on Opening a Trade.
Dashboard Updates
Now, if you navigate back to your Dashboard, you'll notice the metrics have instantly updated. Your Total Investment and Total Open Trades will reflect your newly added position. Keep in mind that Total Realized Returns and ROI (Return on Investment) will update only once a trade has been closed.
Highlight
Just like that, you can open and manage as many trades and transactions as you wish, gaining powerful insights into your stock portfolio.
